- First Impressions - Fall 2011
Here's some little "first impressions" for this season's new animes-
that I have watched.. -P
First is Tamayura: ~Hitotose~
The story takes place in Seto Inland Sea and is about a girl who likes taking pictures.
***
When it comes to show's like this- don't expect to much energetic moves to be done (lol) because It's more of like a drama hides in an anime. This type is like the ones- can get an adaptation aka live action. The story is simply calm and heartwarming so I guaranteed that you will enjoy watching it...
Second is Kimi to Boku
The story revolves around four teens — the good-looking twins Yuuta and Yuuki Asaba, the effeminate Shun Matsuoka, and the class head Kaname Tsukahara — who have known each other since early childhood. While they are not necessarily good or bad friends, they continue to hang out well into high school. The half-Japanese transfer student Chizuru Tachibana joins the circle of friends in this comedy about the everyday life of adolescence.
***
So.. the lil' plot up there tells you what is this anime all about. (lol) Hahaha! The first ep is very plain-- It has lots of fun conversation and thinking (geh) and then the twins are gonna hit some comedic lines and back to emotionless conversation again Yup, that's how this anime goes~ *o* It's like Nichijou w/o the weird moments (hahah). That's why I'm looking forward to their next episode. I need this anime to pamper me!! BTW love the ending song ♥ Nakimushi by Miku Sawai =D
Third is Chihayafuru
All her life, Chihaya's dream was to see her model sister become Japan's best... That is, until a quiet, unassuming transfer student named Arata tells her otherwise. A dream, he explains to her, is something she needs to work at herself. Arata plays a competitive version of a traditional Japanese card game--known as Hyakunin Isshu--in a way Chihaya has never seen before. After taking Arata's place in a game, Chihaya discovers she has a passion for it. Now Chihaya wants to become number one in the world, the Queen of Karuta.
***
Chihayafuru's plot sounds not interesting though it's the opposite. The main character reminds me of Megumi (Cheeky Angel) at first glance and for some reason I can't stop laughing~ if you have watch cheeky angel you'll understand why.. Anyways, this show didn't fail to re-arrange the scenes-- And if I were to the people who read the manga ver. of it~ I'll stop saying that the anime version is not good as the manga DX They are both fantastic!! I prefer the anime because the manga type of chihayafuru is so detailed on their conversation leaving the readers tired so... you'll end up by just looking on drawings and reading just the important lines. ( I always do that ) Dakara I prefer moving pictures ^o^ because I'm too lazy to read... I will keep on following the series =D
Fourth is Bakuman 2
Moritaka Mashiro, a junior high school student, content to live out a relatively normal life as any other does, is persuaded by his classmate, Akito Takagi, to become an aspiring mangaka when the latter realizes his natural talent as an artist. However, Moritaka is reluctant to pursue his dream as his uncle, once a mangaka with his own serializations, died from overwork trying to regain his lost status. With Akito's help, Takagi gets another classmate and his school crush, Azuki Miho, who is an aspiring voice actress, to voice in the anime adaptation of their future manga once it is completed. However, Mashiro also proposes to Azuki, who surprisingly accepts only on the condition she will marry him when both of them have achieved their dreams. With a goal set before him, Mashiro begins a long and struggling path to become a famous mangaka.
***
Well, It's finally here!! AT LONG LAST~ I am somewhat very intrigued to the setup where Miho agreed on marrying Moritaka if they both succeed. But- for now the story is centering on making good manga and competing with other authors. I'm quite sad about their change of editor but the new one is not that bad— They just say that it's not that easy to adapt the new type of person especially when he/she is an editor. The duo is now having assistants like a pro manga artist~ their new editor says.. they need the help of assistants as they now going to a new level of being mangaka. Some adult's are not super interested on the story of Bakuman but I'm sure the shounen vibe of the anime can make a large appeal on younger viewers. So.. those who have watched and enjoyed the first season will probably able to tell you about the good points of Bakuman (like me) ^o~ Bakuman has one of the most unique inside-look to the manga industry and is really a worth watch anime~ It gives the motivational, encouraging and pursuing your dreams feeling!! (laughs)
I am also looking forward to these animes - WORKING 2 - Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi 2 - Guilty Crown
These anime are somewhat real life stories translated by pen and papers— In short they're Slice of Life animes SO phuleez don't expect to much action~ I just told you *o* I am an a uber boring person← That's why those are the types of animes I wanna watch!! >o< LOL nways, I hope I satisfied the impression cravings of the people who have watched those animes up there ↑ =D And.. In fact these animes are considered cute and heartwarming for days and ages full of anime showing violence and all that UH!! The stories of these shows isn't very interesting to blog, but it is very pleasing to watch.
Love,
R Y O
